WorkWell is an objective, standardized and evidence-based system used to assess an individual’s performance to their safest maximum ability. These assessments are valid and reliable and always keep safety and injury prevention at the forefront. This enables the employee to participate to their full ability without fear of injury, providing a more accurate assessment. Reports are concise, objective, legally defensible and medically sound enabling the employer and insurer to make more accurate decisions. Recommendations for rehabilitation, job modification or environmental modifications are made to allow smooth transition of return to work.Susan Carmichael qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2006. She has had a broad base of experience including Neuromusculoskeletal and Orthopaedic outpatient conditions; Pre- and Post‑operative rehabilitation; Trauma, Cardiac and Neonatal ICU; and Respiratory conditions. Her special interest is in Chronic pain, Spinal Neuromusculoskeletal conditions and Orthopaedics. She spent 3 years working in London before opening her own practice in 2014.
The combination of Susan’s sound clinical knowledge and understanding of Chronic Pain, Disabilities and Orthopaedics combined with WorkWell’s system enables the Insurer to make accurate decisions for their claimants.
